Thanksgiving, an American tradition and holiday founded by the Pilgrims after their first harvest in the New World, is commonly celebrated by giving thanks to God for a common purpose. It also marks the beginning of the fall-winter holiday season in the United States. Here at ClearFreight, we celebrated Thanksgiving this year by continuing our annual tradition of giving back to our community.
Led by our very own Vice President Max Wang, a team of ClearFreighters served warm Thanksgiving meals with a local charity organization to hundreds of homeless and the less fortunate on this rainy Thanksgiving day in Los Angeles.
After getting wind of our worthy cause, Nandog, a quality pet gear retailer, donated over $3,000 worth of luxury pet beds to the homeless animals present at the event that day.
Though it was a cold and rainy day, Southern California got a lot warmer on Thanksgiving day this year.
